Watching the young singer from Texas perform is a chance to "see somebody’s culture come to life on stage," said one AGT Judge.

Between his snappy outfit, beaming grin, and magnetic personality, Eduardo Antonio Trevino made a big impression at his America’s Got Talent audition.

And that was before this 11-year-old mariachi soloist belted a single note — when he did, oh boy. The audience and Judges were enthralled.

Eduardo hails from Houston and has been singing since he was a toddler. He then picked up the guitar in 2020.

The talented Texas tween has mariachi — traditional Mexican folk music — in his DNA.

“My great-grandfather recorded music in 1926,” he told Sofia Vergara. But financial needs forced him “to give up the dream.”

Nearly a century later, Eduardo is living out a dream of his own. He has performed across his home state and recently took top honors in his age category at an annual Mariachi Extravaganza in San Antonio.

“I’m doing what I love,” Eduardo told AGT Host Terry Crews. He added that if he won the $1 million prize, he’d buy more Mexican cowboy-inspired charro suits.

Accompanied by five musicians, Eduardo sang “La Charreada,” a song about the joys of the rodeo written by Felipe Bermejo.

Recording great Linda Ronstadt included the lively number on her 1987 passion project “Songs of My Father,” a Spanish-language album of traditional mariachi music. Among her memorable performances of the song was a collaboration with The Muppets.

Eduardo’s rendition — clear, confident, and crackling with charisma — left everyone on a high.

Asked by Vergara if he had an idol, Eduardo told her it is Mexico’s late legend Vicente Fernandez.

Known as “the king of ranchera music,” Fernandez was famous for songs about love that were “familiar to U.S. Hispanics and people across the Spanish-speaking world, NBC News reported.

Fernandez won three Grammys and eight Latin Grammys and sold more than 50 million records. In 1998, which was 23 years before his death at 81, he was honored with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

Sofia Vergara: "I love it. It was fantastic. You are amazing, your presence, your smile and personality."

Heidi Klum: "I love your voice. I love how long you can drag out those notes. Amazing. And every note you hit — it’s just perfect. I loved it."

Howie Mandel: "I respond positively when you see somebody’s culture come to life on stage. I know nothing about mariachi music … But I gotta say I really enjoyed it. Thank you so much for sharing it."

Simon Cowell: "I absolutely loved this audition, love you. I'm still a little bit shocked that that was singing because you're so young and you’re like a proper lead singer. You have a natural talent."

And in the end, Eduardo received four big yes votes.
